OMG, so perfect together! I WANT NOW. Lee Seung Gi, who is currently filming the upcoming drama The King with Ha Ji Won, is also planning to release his first Japanese single next month. Eyebrows were raised when he was recently photographed on the streets of Seoul seemingly shopping for groceries with Park Shin Hye. Of course such overt togetherness only means one thing – she’s his leading lady for the “Time for Love” MV, and the grocery shopping was in fact part of the scenes filmed for the MV. I watched the teaser and promptly fell in love with this coupling.
Why aren’t they making a drama together? As much as I adore Ha Ji Won, I’m still an iffy about her pairing with Lee Seung Gi. Perhaps Shin Hye would have been a perfect choice for that role, though this is just my retroactive musings. Joo Sang Wook also makes an appearance in the MV, and he hilariously sticks out like a sore thumb in this love triangle. He’s like the greasy ahjusshi to Shin Hye’s innocent college student. Perhaps that was the point, to make it easier to root for Shin Hye with Lee Seung Gi.
Teaser for “Time for Love” MV:
Shin Hye has actually collaborated with Lee Seung Gi before, most notably when she performed onstage with him in the 2010 SBS Gayo Daejun. They went onstage in the guise of a bride and groom for the dance version of his song “Will You Marry Me”, and he actually proposed to her as part of the performance. While I’m normally not a fan of that type of wedding dress, it looks perfect on Shin Hye and is suitable for the occasion of performing on stage. These two are destined to make a drama together, mark my words. It’s only a matter of when and what drama.

You are so right! I can already imagine their chemistry. The perfect rom-com pairing. Plus they can both sing. Wow, what a combo.
I also can't wait for the full video of Seung Gi's single. The teaser was so beautiful that I replayed it a number of times.
OMG Koala unni jjang!
Honestly can't believe I almost forgot how many times I used to watch that performance.
Thank you so much for posting the pics and the new teaser!
I LOVE IT!
they really really need to act together in a drama xD
Yeah I really hope they they will have their own drama soon. Looks so cute and perfect together, just this teaser. I really like their performance back in 2009 and now this <3
I heard that the MV will be 12 mins long and the PD was the one that filmed T-ara lates MV as well... So it will be awesome and I cant wait ^^
Damn, her legs are lovely. Me gusta.
psh cameod in my galfren's a gumiho, as his college hoobae, who had a crush on him in college... she came as go minam, her YAB character... :)
i dont know what is it, but there is something when i look at PSH, that her looks and acting always look a little unrealistic, i mean i cant feel it her into the characters, it's like her acting seems so obvious. But LSG looks so innocent in this MV.
lmao, true that. after watching her for so long i kinda don't feel her acting anymore and find that she has that ignorant face.
She cameoed in My girlfriend is a Gumiho too! It was a short scene on the bus!
Lee Seung-gi and Park Shin-hye make a really cute couple, and I agree that they'd be great together in a drama. Drama gods, please make it so! LOL
Joo Sang-wook was Park Shin-hye's love interest in the 2007 drama, Kimcheed Radish Cubes. Then, Park Shin-hye was 17, and Joo Sang-wook was 28 or 29. He was like the greasy ahjussi to Shin-hye's innocent high schooler...sorry, but ewwww. Her character was supposed to be something like 21, and she did a pretty good job of acting older, but imho it still didn't quite work or feel right. Kinda the same vibe goin' on here.
the korean version of this song had Han hyo joo as as part of the narrative...I was hoping for an MV with them together...guess its too soon to see the hwansung couple back together
One word: Awwww!
