Hey guys, let’s see if we can turn the complete and utter collapse of Miss Rose into a fun game. The drama has been confirmed to end at 23 episodes, which means with this week’s episode 22 we only have one more week to go. Not bad, right? I still can’t wrap my head around what the hell the writers have been smoking since episode 16. There are tons more conflicts the drama could mine and instead we have been circling the bush on the Vivian can’t let go of Cheng Kuan nonsense forever. What happened to his career? What happened to her career? What happened to her family as well? I’ve stopped caring about this drama but knowing that it will end soon, plus we’re getting hopefully a super steamy bed scene this week, has made me decide to just wing it for the final hurrah. I kinda owe it to myself to stick this one through since I did love it so much initially and recommended it all over the place. Of course I made the caveat that it could go down the crapper, but I’m still apologetic it did even if I have no control over it.
My gut feeling is that Yi Chun is going to be the big hero in all of this, though recently he’s been all shady but that’s just a feint. He’s been developed too well to suddenly have a personality transplant, though dramas do that all the time as evidenced by what the writer is doing to Hyung Joon in Missing You. Back to MR, I think all the ridiculous obstacles will be resolved in this episode and the final episode next week will be Si Yi getting married. I’m sad the writer didn’t really spend quality time on how cute and funny Si Yi and Cheng Kuan’s dating life would be, since really they are so very different and bicker so adorably. I also felt that Sheng Jun and Xiao Ke’s getting together was shafted by how horrible the plot has been recently, hence I can’t even appreciate it as much. I think if I go into the final two episodes treating it like a drinking game where everything is bound to be stupid, I can actually enjoy whatever bits of goodness remain and bid farewell to this drama fondly rather than acrimoniously. In truth it’s been a treat for so long I shouldn’t judge it simply by its final loop. All those MR watchers in with me?
Written preview for episode 22:
Under the dual pressure from President Jiang and his mother, Cheng Kuan decides to protect the only love in this lifetime, bravely taking Si Yi’s hand to wander the world. In the closed room, Cheng Kuan tenderly presses a kiss on Si Yi’s lips, their bodies intertwined and they take their relationship to the next level.
President Jiang calls a news conference and announces the wedding plans of the Golden Couple. Cheng Kuan finds Vivian to ask one final time for release, and shockingly gets his ex-girlfriend’s blessings! This time…..is Vivian genuinely letting go, or is it yet another attempt for her to back off in order to move forward?
There is a new clue to the car accident and the culprit floats to the surface? A critical picture at the police station, Ting Ai’s speeding ticket, Yi Chun’s car repair receipt, who is the real force behind trying to destroy Miss Screw’s happiness? The truth is slowly revealed and who is the real hero who will pull the lid off everything?

There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…

I AM WITH YOU!!!
You had me at “My gut feeling is that Yi Chun is going to be the big hero in all of this.” Of course this has to happen or else I will have all sorts of fits. Really how could they do this to this drama? Was the original writer kidnapped or something? There were so many things that they could be spending time on. Yeesh. I am taking a break from grading to check the blog. Two more days of grading to do and then I will be in marathon heaven. . . Or hell depending on what MR does with Yi Chun.
Thanks for staying with us until the end, Captain Koala.
I've missed a few weeks, so I'm behind on the disaster that this is turning in to. I'll catch up in time to watch the finale. I'll watch it all, simply because I love Roy so much. The drama can be a hot mess, and I'll still watch, as long as his beauty graces the screen. I'm so darn shallow.
Ok, I'll watch again.
I'm all ready for mucho drinks. How about some margarita, merlot and taquila. Whoo hoo, let party for the last 2 finales and get lightly drunk for the a more enjoyable bed bed scent. :-).
Back to the actual real MR, yeah 2 ep to wrap and end the drama is a bit fast pace. The writers have been chasing their tails in the past 4-5 ep, or have gone out space or are demented; all of the sudden, they wake and decide to move on so they wrap up to end the drama. I felt bad for Megan, Roy, Paul and Tia, but nothing I can do other than venting on this site. Anyways, I have been enjoying watching this drama even though it's not as good as I expected.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr....Vivian is still alive, so that's points against watching, but
STEAMY BED scene and BODIES INTERTWINED????
I'm back!
Like Tammie, I'll have to check out the previous two weeks to catch up.
How do the writers keep their jobs?
I'm with you too captain k.
