Chris Wu Reveals His Quirks for the May Edition of Beauty Magazine

For those of you meeting Chris Wu for the first time through King Flower, it’s a pretty easy cake walk for him to play Terry/Ouyang Tai. It’s a testament to how amazingly deep he is as an actor that he makes such a superficially constructed rich chaebol heir into the main character of the drama and the only person who feels alive and real. He’s not breaking out because of KF, he’s really already broken out many times before, but I think this time the networks will be hard pressed to think he’s just a niche actor with a mania fan base. In a recent magazine spread (I almost died laughing that the tagline reads “Lady Killer”), Chris revealed some personal information that might be of some interest to his new fans. When asked what is his most Man moment – he says cooking. His favorite cologne? Terre D’hermes. What to do if he’s poor and needs to scrimp and save? Eat bread for every meal. What does he love to collect in his personal time? Classic sunglasses. What is his ideal date? When both people have a free day to spend lazing at home. Dude, if I were with you at home, we would not be “lazing” the day away, that’s for sure. Now that KF has wrapped, he’s done two TW-dramas back-to-back and he’s really more of an indie movie actor at heart. I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks a movie next, but he will be gracing the big screens in Taiwan come July when his ensemble movie Star of Bethlehem premieres. He plays a record producer with slight autism and a difficulty interacting with others. For the movie he had to learn to play the piano and Chris joked that he sucked so bad he promptly forgot the moment he finished a playing scene.

    TERRRRRYYY!!!

I will forever associate chris wu with Terry.

  • I really hope he will be nominated and even win an acting award for GBA this year.. though he himself replied in his FB that it's unlikely... but I will be rooting for him! Jia you Chris!!

  • I am his new fan and I hope to see him only in lead roles where we don't get out hearts broken.

  • TOOOOOOO CUTE. I admit I became obsessed with him through KF but now I'm itching to watch everything he's in.

  • gahhhhh can we get to see what the other parts were talking about in the article~~?? deadly curious (and I honestly couldn't make out all the words from your pics... maybe half) but thank you so much for sharing~~~~

  • Why is he holding women shoes?

Oh yeah, I blame you, my dear koala, for making me into his total fangirl. Now I'm going to go back and watch some of his other stuff.

    Thanks :D

      • Haha if he becomes the spokesperson for ladies' shoes, I may take a look and consider buying the shoes... even if I'm not a particular fan of heels

  • last pic is adorbs! he's so manly even tho he's holding those sandals! *swoon* time. :) thank you koala sis!
