Lee Dong Gun Epitomizes the Sharply Dressed Man for Brooks Brothers

Holy mother of something or another. *speechless* This degree of male gorgeousness should come with a warning sign, or probably is just plain illegal. After five long years away from the entertainment world, a combination of his time off due to the loss of his younger brother followed by two years of military service and then another year or just laying low, Lee Dong Gun is slowly making his way back to my our arms and I have to say that the wait is well worth it. The man has always been the sensitive introspective type and I always got the sense that he loved acting and singing but didn’t necessary crave the fame or find any satisfaction in it. He’s chosen as his comeback the high profile KBS time-travel romance drama Marry Him If You Dare (Mirae’s Choice), with his character being the titular “Him” while Yoon Eun Hye is the “You” who may be fated to marry him even if her future self tries to muss it up. While the drama has released stills of leading lady Yoon Eun Hye and second male lead Jung Yong Hwa, I’m still twiddling my thumbs waiting for the hotness that is Lee Dong Gun as broadcast announcer Kim Shin to drop. When it does, expect lots of screaming. And flailing. The above still is the just released endorsement pictorial of Lee Dong Gun as the latest face for Brooks Brothers in South Korea. The brand was racking their brains for someone to embody their classic refined style of dressing, which happened to coincidence with the news that Lee Dong Gun was making his comeback. So the brand approached him to model their latest Fall collection and he agreed, which is the perfect fit since his character in MHIYD will be wearing a lot of suits. Clearly he’ll be wearing Brooks Brothers in the drama, and if he looks anything close to as good as he looks in the picture above, I suggest we all watch the drama with a bucket handy to catch the drool. He’s been sorely missed in the years away and seeing any tidbit of news about him is a sight for sore eyes. He hasn’t aged a wink when I flashback to some of his classic dramas like Ruler of Your Own World, Sang Doo, Let’s Go to School, Stained Glass, etc. Except hotter, he’s only gotten hotter with age, experience, and lots of life lessons. I’m dying to see his first stills with Yoon Eun Hye.
