Joseon Guman is so lovely and fun to watch but doesn’t yet inspire in me feats of madness where I sit around twiddling my thumbs for the next fix. One reason is likely my confidence in the characters and in the scriptwriter. Having Yoon Kang and Soo In so sweetly fall in love and keep that feeling alive for the three year separation makes it feel inevitable they’ll find a way to be together even if it’s under the cover of darkness and away from their enemies prying eyes. Another reason I’m not worried is the scriptwriter has done a great job with the entire narrative so far that the romance is both solid without overwhelming the action and revenge parts of the narrative.
The big delicious romantic reunion will come when it comes, and might not even be all that in rush since seeing Hanjo messing with Soo In’s mind to keep his cover is pretty deliciously angsty. Even if the couple can’t engage in an epic weepy hug just yet, Soo In is about to come face-to-face with ninja gunman Yoon Kang and this time he’ll reveal who he is to her. Yay! He won’t say that he’s also Hanjo, but if Yoon Kang shows up around the same time as Hanjo, I sure hope Soo In uses her brain to put two-and-two together and figure it out on her own. This writer also loves reusing important gestures, the putting that hat on was one of them, and now Yoon Kang slapping his hand over Soo In’s mouth is reminiscent of their hiding from Merchant Choi years ago in the mountain hut. So simultaneously hot and meaningful, guh.

Woohoooo! Finally Wednesday and more Joseon!!! <3 <3 <3
They are so pretty!
Nam Sang Mi has not changed a bit since the infamous "xman era", over a score ago, with her bubbly cutesy demeanor opposite a crush/love interest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5XNNfV1brQ (with Tony Ahn and a bonus with Puppy Seung Gi)
Thus even though my eyes do recognize her in her sageuk garment, I expect her to sweetly answer "Danghyunaji" with a pumped fist to anything Lee Jun Ki might say. LOL
I am confident in Yoon Kang and Soo In's romance too. Now let's see if Hae Won would be able to throw in some "spice".
THIS DRAMA IS GETTING ME HIGH.OOOH CANT WAIT I LIKE NAM SANG AND I BELIEVE HER CHARACTER WILL DEVELOP
My problem is that I'm just not convinced that Soo-in has a brain. She's sold to us as intelligent, but she surely doesn't act like it.
I want to like this drama, but they way they've written her character in eps 1-6.... not compelling.
As You said - it`s your problem)))
