Does the first teaser preview of upcoming MBC Wed-Thurs drama Warm and Cozy live up to its title? The vista views of Jeju Island does make me feel a warm breeze wafting through, but I’m not yet getting any cozy vibes. Instead the whole thing seems really light and cheerful, mostly thanks to Yoo Yeon Seok smiling his way through the teaser. The set up and execution feels less frenetic than the typical Hong sisters style, but also lacks a noticeable narrative hook the sisters use to lure audiences to check out their dramas. I’m interested in watching but it’s not because of this teaser and all previous drama stills. Those alone just don’t have the gotta watch stickiness to them. I’ll be thrilled if the drama turns out to be awesomely addicting so that I can transition from Smelly Girl to this without missing a beat.

Yoo Yeon SeoK and Kang Sora looks great & it seems fun to watch! I don't know about anyone else but I'm definitely feeling the 'warm and cozy' vibe. The question is will the Hong Sisters do a good job with writing the storyline.

I'm all for tough-nagging girl and nicer guys. What a breath of fresh air in K-dramas lately, with nice guys who turn to be very interesting instead of boring. Cold guys are so last-last-last year.
