Kim Tae Hee and Joo Won Lead the Script Reading for Next SBS Drama Yongpalyi

I may not be pleased with the full casting lineup for upcoming SBS Wed-Thurs drama Yongpalyi, but it’s not enough to turn me off keeping an eye on this drama. For starters I love Kim Tae Hee and second male lead Jo Hyun Jae, who are getting another chance to work together a full decade after they played star-crossed lovers in fantasy drama Nine Tailed Fox. This time they are totally completely never gonna happen be involved in any romantic way as he’s playing both the antagonist character and her older brother. Yeah, incest and trying to kill her does not a potential love line make.

Playing Kim Tae Hee’s love interest and leading man will be Joo Won, doing his first SBS drama ever as he typically headlines KBS dramas in recent years. I’m indifferent to Joo Won but I remember lots of drama fans loved his chemistry with older noona Eugene in his breakout hit Baker King, Kim Tak Goo, so if the same happens here with Kim Tae Hee then surely this drama will at least be worth checking out for there. The cast looks fantastic at the script reading, and in addition to the aforementioned leads there is also perennial second female lead Chae Jung Ahn as well as looks evil onscreen but is a super nice guy in real life Jung Woong In.
