Things are looking up for tvN on its current Fri-Sat time slot with Answer Me 1988, but the same stickiness quotient and buzz doesn’t seem to be there for the Mon-Tues offering Bubblegum. I’m banking both for the holidays when I have more time, but it feels like the Mon-Tues slot in general doesn’t get as much interest for the network compared to the weekend offering.
That might change when Cheese in the Trap takes over after Bubblegum, what with a built in fan base of the original webtoon. The recent good ratings for romance and comedic offerings like Second Time Twenty Again and She Was Pretty might be heralding a revival for that genre, in which case Cheese is both set in a college campus like Twenty and has plenty of romantic interactions much like She Was Pretty. Judging from the just released teaser, though, all I can think is “it’s sooooo cheesy” for the cheese color everywhere.

Well, cheesy is the last thing that can be said about that webtoon lol..
The teaser is so cute! i like that we can interept it differently. so who is the cheese? and who is the trap? not saying more..
But what i liked more was the script reading video with scenes from the drama. we can actually see there the interactions between the actors (i loved that PHJ and SKJ are already getting well and there seems to be nice chemistry between PHJ and KGE)

Yeah...set in a college campus, but there have been very little romantic interactions. Creepy interactions (in my opinion) maybe, but romantic not really. I don't think the focus is romance. I've up to the latest translated chapter (s3c58).
Although creepy..i like YJ and HS interactions together. it's like very different from other characters (except maybe IH). one person with his mask slowly falling and the other one who is starting to read through him.
I've up to s3c56 and i'm hoping the rest of the chapters will be subbed. a while has passed and no news about it /:
Odd squad scanlations has translated up to s3c58. That's 2 more chapters for you to read :). But yeah, they haven't updated for quite a while now.
@Julie. i know there is 2 more but i don't read them on purpose since they are the last translated..i don't think there will be a miracle and all the translated chapters including season 4 will be up till january so i guess the other half of the drama will be total new to me (unless i'll try my very basic korean and try to understand the words or read the summeries)
