The countdown has begun for upcoming tvN drama adaptation of popular webtoon Cheese in the Trap. I’m a huge manga fan since childhood but the dawn of webtoons in the last decade or so has mostly eluded me. That’s why I haven’t read Cheese in the Trap and don’t plan to because I really like the cast and would love to go into this drama clueless about what to expect. Starring Park Hae Jin, Kim Go Eun, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Sung Kyung, and Nam Joo Hyuk, the drama is set on a college campus and from all fan accounts is different than the typical rom-com. The character posters were released recently and sends a bright strong vibe, with the leads doing a great job of channeling their characters. The first drama trailer is also out and shows Park Hae Jin’s character visiting a fortune teller and being told he’s about to meet his match who will see through his nice guy facade into the darkness within. Now this dynamic I can’t wait to see.

As a said in dramabeans. the posters are nice and i loved the teasers! SKJ and LSK look exactly like their chracters in the webtoon, especially lee sung kyung with her bitch face lol. hope they will do well and also NJH which i glad took supporting role and it seems his chracter fits him. i don't know well park min ji but she seems like a solid actress and i'm sure she will portray well the heroine best friend bora.
Though at first i thought the posters of PHJ and KGE didn't portrayed them so well after looking at the BTS i kind of like it better. I don't want to expect so much but i did read the webtoon so i have some expectations majorly from the leads since they are the heart and soul of the webtoon itself. please drama be good!
