Entertainer Looks Vastly Entertaining with Minty Throwback Posters and Dramatic New Preview

I’ve definitively found the first choice in my next K-drama to follow and it’s Entertainer thanks to the latest preview showing scenes from the first episode. It looks so earnest and entertaining (pardon the title pun), with Ji Sung owning the screen as he alternates between put upon and extending a life line. With the end of Please Come Back Ahjusshi, this SBS drama premieres next week on Wed-Thurs and it looks way more interesting to me than PIE making noodles on KBS with Master: God of Noodles taking over for Descendants of the Sun. Entertainer finally released drama posters this week, going for a retro character driven vibe with the mint green backdrop and emphasis on each lead. The new preview shows us how Ji Sung’s character falls from grace as a music agent but then crosses paths with the bullied teen musician in Kang Min Hyuk to potentially rise together in the entertainment industry. I’m thrilled there’s no dead ex or cute dog in sight, the more this drama doesn’t have any similar elements to My Lovely Girl the better.
