Ravishing is the first adjective that comes to mind when I laid eyes on the newest batch of official drama stills for the upcoming C-drama adaptation of popular fantasy romance novel Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms. Starring Mark Chao and Yang Mi, the source novel by writer Tang Qi Gong Zi has a huge following and the live action adaptation actually took longer than expected due to the difficulty of bringing such an expansive fantasy ancient gods and goddesses world to life.
Yang Mi has always been one of the famed goddess beauties of C-ent since her early days playing little Guo Xiang ten years ago in the 2006 version of Return of the Condor Heroes. Funnily enough the leading lady of 2006 RoCH Crystal Liu is playing the same character at Yang Mi in the movie version of Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms. I think the cinematic world is big enough for both beauties to coexist in harmony playing the same character, all I ask for is the drama to drop as soon as possible because it looks so rich with the visual tapestry.

I see C-dramas have decided they are not ceding the Asian drama soft-power to Korea no longer.
Omg all the ladies are so pretty! Super excited, can't wait to see this one. Also super excited to see Crystal Lui playing the same role as Yang mi. She is my bias but it been so long since she started in any drama. Drama version are usually better than movies.
It's been forever Liu Yifei starred in a drama, she's only been shooting movies. And yes, it's usually harder for a long novel to adapt into 2 hour movie version, but definitely won't miss the movie since Yang Yang is in it too.
Yup! Hope to watch the movie version b/c of Yang Yang. Not a fan of any drama cast though. Will skip the drama.
The costumes and hair style look gorgeous!
I was never a fan of Yang Mi's 'beauty' even back in ROCH2006 but the above photo is really tickling my fancy. I might just check out the drama for her.
Movie version is a must watch, the leads are both so beautiful the price of admission is worth it just to look at their faces.
Not to mention the baby in the movie version is beyond adorable too. You can google Liu Yi Fei, Yang Yang and that baby together, they are so cute. Visuals are exploding indeed.
he's so cuteeee
The visuals look super pretty oO Although I still can't get over DongHua urgh Every time I see him I'm just so... horrified? ^^"
