One of Korea’s representatives to the 2016 Cannes Film Festival was the cast of summer thriller movie Train to Busan. Led by leads Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi, they were joined by director Yeon Sang Ho along with child actress Kim Soo Ahn as the excited and happy foursome hit up all the major Cannes events. From red carpet to media day to dinner out, everyone looks so gloriously happy despite their film being all about the gory zombies on a train conceit. Train to Busan premiered out of competition at a midnight showing and so far has gotten positive reviews in the early feedback. That bodes well for its domestic box office premiere back in Korea just in time for the summer movie season. Zombies aren’t my thing but Gong Yoo totally is so count me in!

I don't like zombie movies but think I'll have to watch this movie for Gong Yoo. Let's watch this with LizzyD!
But, you'll have your hands covering your eyes the whole time so you won't actually be able to see him!
How tall is gong yoo that Jung yumi in 5 inch heels is still just reaching above his shoulders??!! ( see third last pic)
He is looking dapper and very much like that character he played in big. I can't even remember the name now!
Wow, he looks sooo good in suit. Too perfect!
Just realized that Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-mi starred together before in The Silenced.
