Adorable Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung Shine in Long Preview for Moonlight Drawn by Clouds

KBS premieres youth romance sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds this Monday evening, and those still on the fence can check on the ten minute long preview released at the press conference a few days ago to decide whether to watch or not. I’m a hundred percent planning to watch, with two leads I love who also can act in Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. The second leads aren’t bad either, Jinyoung is adorable in the right role and Chae Soo Bin is great at acting aggrieved and bitchy as the antagonist role requires of her. The long preview confirmed my initial inclination to watch, there’s tons of cuteness surrounded by lush sageuk visuals. Park Bo Gum stands out as sufficiently princely with full on leading man charisma, with Kim Yoo Jung fulfilling her childhood ordained destiny of being a bona fide sageuk leading lady.

I always love saeguk including fuscion saeguk but I am going to pass on this one despite how much I adore Kim Yoo Jung. It is just to comical for my taste.

It was a fun 1st episode!
I'm impressed. This long preview looks way more interesting than all the prior teasers. For just a 10 minute short clip, the chemistry of the adorable OTP exploded. KYJ as expected, but I'm more impressed by PBG's explosive charisma and charm galore. He seems to totally step up his game. I completely buy into this first drama of him as a leading man of sageuk. I thought Moonlight was no competition to Scarlet Heart since the prior teasers were full of slapstick and I just couldn't appreciate too much farce in a sageuk. But now I'll be concerned about Scarlet Heart given so much hype and promotion about the drama; besides, the writer was said to be mediocre.
