K-actor Jin Goo has been in the industry for over a dozen years and yet his surge to the pinnacle of his own popularity this year still doesn’t feel overexposed, likely due to how underrated he was to begin with. The Descendants of the Sun craze seems to have finally died down, leaving only the stars reaping the aftermath of their massive appeal. Jin Goo is on the cover and pages of Chinese Hallyu publication K-Lifestyle Magazine, less idol packed than the usual fare and definitely classy with the presentation of ruggedly handsome Jin Goo. He passed on SBS kidnapping drama Wanted, which just ended its run, and ratings-wise the decision proved wise as the drama didn’t resonate with viewers in that time slot. He can afford to be picky with upcoming projects and based on his career so far dramas isn’t necessarily his priority. I hope he does something next that plays with his adaptability to go from intense to goofy on a dime.
