Ariel Lin Cuts Off Long Locks of 16 Years for Wig Donation and Debuts an Adorable Choppy Boyish Look

I totally thought Ariel Lin was rocking a cute short wig but it turns out the award winning popular Taiwanese actress went for a real hair makeover. Ariel cut off her long locks of 16 years to debut a shot choppy boyish haircut at the media event for her new movie My Egg Boy costarring Rhydian Vaughan. The movie is a rom-com where unlucky in love frozen foods executive played by Ariel decides to freeze her eggs but then gets her plans upended when she meets fresh food acolyte cook played by Rhydian.

The movie premiered last week in Taiwan so Ariel has been everywhere promoting the flick. But her short mussy bob haircut made it’s debut this weekend and Ariel joked that her husband of three years asked if she was planning to go back to college. It’s a stretch but she definitely looks like your average Taiwanese female college student. I’m loving her adorable new look and it’s even more fantastic that she did it for donation and she’s trying out a new hairstyle at the same time BFF Rainie Yang is showcasing eye-catching silver purple locks.
