Goblin held it’s press conference last week earlier than usual so it’s been an additional week wait for the drama to arrive this Friday December 2nd. Only thing will tell if screenwriter Kim Eun Sook will hit her usual ratings gold moving over to cable network tvN, and whether she has once again crafted characters and narrative that will get the audiences buzzing. This drama looks so much more interesting than the first stills of lonely countryside Gong Yoo as the Goblin, his sageuk warrior intensity is thrilling to finally behold and modern day the bromance with Lee Dong Wook adds depth and levity to the proceedings. Can’t wait for the drama to premiere with all the eye-popping visuals teased in the previews.

Seriously, I have not been so looking forward to a drama premiere for ages! This is looking very very good - indeed, more like a big-budget summer blockbuster. Please be good, Goblin, please.
