Choi Kang Hee and Kwon Sang Woo Get into Character in First Stills for KBS Drama Mystery Queen

The transformation of quirky actress Choi Kang Hee into the titular Mystery Queen looks like a slam dunk from the first stills recently released of the upcoming KBS Wed-Thurs drama. Taking over for the time slot leading Chief Kim, the drama centers around a woman who loves sleuthing and mystery novels and finds her deductive reasoning ability called into use to aid the police in solving crimes. I normally would hate the frumpy clothes and unflattering hair, this time a cross between bowl haircut and the mushroom, but for Choi Kang Hee she somehow makes unintentionally ugly appear endearing like a well worn sweater. Luckily male lead Kwon Sang Woo as the cop partner is looking smexy as heck, and hopefully their chemistry and banter anchors the drama in both fun and intrigue.
