It's possible for photoshot, but not really for acting. Even for JE, they can't just come out of nowhere and get lead the drama just because they look similar to known actor.
Even for Matsuda brothers (Shota and Ryuhei), they have their own charm and they can't replace the other (even when they do resemble the other and their acting is on par).

When did Maki's parents divorce, there has been pap pics of her driving around with her dad (but she's always said she's close with her family)
But Nanami looks so much like Maki, they could be twins!
But interestingly some in the J-ent business are saying that after things will calm down she'll debut under her husbands agency which is independent.
Her relationship with Sweet Power wasn't the best for a while and her contract ended in march and she hadn't renewed it.
I hope that's true and she'll finally use her real name Marina Hara.
