Movie Stills of Song Joong Ki, So Ji Sub, and Hwang Jung Min in K-movie Battleship Island

Pain and suffering with a side of Korean patriotism is in full display in the glossy movie stills for upcoming period movie Battleship Island. Starring Hwang Jung Min, Song Joong Ki, and So Ji Sub, the movie chronicles the real life forced labor camp that was set up by the Japanese on the industrial island of Hashima (nickname Gunkanjima which means battleship island). The camp was run by the Japanese with forced Korean and Chinese labor with an estimated 1300 deaths due to the harsh working and living conditions. The movie centers around Song Joong Ki’s independence fighter who infiltrates the camp to liberate a freedom fighting leader, with So Ji Sub as a fighter on the island and Hwang Jung Min there to survive and protect his young daughter. Together they rally about 400 Korean laborers to escape the island.

SJK seems very thin in this movie. The casting is great between HJM, SJB and SJK ! I read that this movie was sold in a lot of countries :) I hope it will be a success !

I hope some online streaming site will upload this movie. I'm even willing to pay a premium to watch it, which I'm usually reluctant to do. ? The cast is a load of good actors including the child actress. And I believe SJK and HJM always picked good projects. Most likely the script won't go wrong.

SJS looks good no matter what condition he is in. The man looks intense and very handsome in the stills.
I love SJK and he is great in everything I have seen him in so far.
HJM is a very good actor and this type of role suits him the best.
