There are three distinct lives even for the god and goddess main leads of Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms, hence the beautiful novel title and the ethereal vibe of the entire story. The C-drama adaptation was a massive hit starring Yang Mi and Mark Chao, and in three weeks come the big screen movie version Once Upon a Time with Crystal Liu and Yang Yang taking on the beloved roles of Bai Qian and Ye Hua. The production released new movie stills with the most unique being illustrated character shots of the two leads in their three different lives.
Their main roles are as Goddess Bai Qian and Crown Prince Ye Hua, but then there is cross-dressing Si Yin with her master Mo Yuan, and the living in the mortal realm memory lost Su Su with Ye Hua playacting as a mortal gentleman. The posters are lovely with bold fiery red for the godly realm, blue blacks on the heavenly mountains, and soft pinks for the mortal coil. There’s also an international version of the movie trailer with official English subs which actually capture the lyricism of this arresting fantasy romance.

Oh wow they are really doing all three lives...will look forward to how this pans out on film.
The c-drama adaptation was really good and I’m curious to see how the big screen version turns out. Usually wuxia films are higher budget and better in quality, especially if there are big names attached to the project.
really looking forward to this
can't wait to see in theater
