With how hard Manhole (Wonderland’s Feels or Feels So Good) flopped recently on KBS Mon-Tues, there is a reasonable concern that similarly quirky rom-com feel upcoming tvN drama Revolutionary Love may be coming at a time without the audience for this type of drama fare. The two drama’s even have titles based on a pun of the male lead’s name, which of course is fairly common in K-dramas, and Manhole was narratively and acting-wise not that strong so I have hope that Revolutionary Love has patches over those weak points and with tvN behind the wheel there is an understanding of how to do quirky correctly. The first poster is out and shows leads Choi Si Won, Kang Sora, and Gong Myung chillaxing on a rooftop in a very trendy furniture store ad arrangement. The three leads have a very cohesive vibe that bodes well for their onscreen chemistry, or at least I hope so since I very much want a light rom-com to watch alongside my current crack While You Were Sleeping and finishing up the well-meaning but sleep-inducing Hospital Ship.
