I love the casting and really hate the appropriated drama title, growls to the conflicted first reaction. Cable network OCN continued to peddle in thrillers and procedural fare nicely, with currently airing grim reaper in the body of a detective drama Black with Song Seung Heon and Go Ara doing well in ratings and getting positive audience reviews. OCN is looking far ahead into 2018 already and luring to the small screen two very talented Korean stars – Kang Ji Hwan and Kim Ok Bin have been offered the lead roles in the police procedural Children of the Lesser God. The title annoys me of course because of the Oscar winning movie and book that it was adapted from Children of a Lesser God about a romance between a professor for the hearing impaired and a deaf woman. OCN’s Children centers around two police detectives who partner together to solve crime, he’s a logical type and she has supernatural powers involving her vision that assist in cracking cases.

Yes please. I miss Kang Ji Hwan so much. Never watched Kim Ok Bin in anything but I heard she is good. OCN is on the roll this year.
It was fun to watch him as a guest in the TV show Island Trio with Kang Ho Dong, Kim Hee Sun and Jung Yonghwa. There were Gummy and Sungkyu too.
A few days ago, i was thinking about KJH and Miss Koala writes an article about a drama for OCN ( very good dramas) with a good actress : Kim Ok Bin , i know her since the drama "over the rainbow" 2006. " Lie to me" was the last work i saw with him , this new project has all the ingrédients to attract me.
This drama does sound good. Anticipating.
Love him. I skipped his last dramas, as either the leading lady or long runtime didn't appeal to me. This looks just fine and I hope he does it.
