Fantastic Drama Posters and New Previews Ups the Excitement for Hwayugi

Hoo boy is the excitement really heating up now for the December 23rd arrival of tvN fantasy drama Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey). And right before Christmas, too, so if the drama turns out to be fantastic it’ll feel like a present from the drama clause just for me being good this year. The drama released two official drama posters, the first a group with leads Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won, Lee Hong Ki, and Jang Gwang arrayed stylishly against a heavenly backdrop of clouds.

The other poster features the two male leads the cocky Monkey King with a flair for flamboyant attire sitting next to the dapper powerful Bull Demon King. There’s also new drama stills of Cha Seung Won’s Bull Demon King modern incarnation as an entertainment agency president judging a music competition and likely being all Simon Cowell on the contestants. And I saved the best for last, new previews with much more character interaction, the best being the chemistry already sparking between Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon Seo. He’s basically her protector, swoon!
