It’s with a heavy heavy heart I have to post about another sudden and much too young passing in K-ent. Actor Jeon Tae Soo has passed today on January 21, 2018, only 34 years old so this news is a shocking bomb to K-ent out of nowhere. He’s most famous for being top actress Ha Ji Won‘s younger brother, no diss in the industry when there are so many famous actresses with cute younger brothers also in the acting industry. His family will hold a private funeral and released a statement that Jeon Tae Soo had been battling severe depression for many years but his sudden passing to the illness was still a shock and the family is in deep mourning. Jeon Tae Soo didn’t have that many acting credits to his name and was probably most famous for being a supporting actor in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and his last acting works were in 2013 with Cruel Palace – War of Flowers and The King’s Daughter Soo Baek Hyang. My deepest condolences to the Jeon family, and Ha Ji Won’s agency has announced that all her upcoming events have been cancelled. Rest in peace dear boy, and know that you were loved and will be remembered in the public eye with the works you left behind.
This has been a tough two years for the Jeon family as the family patriarch passed away two years ago in 2016, shortly after the family pictorial seen above was photographed and published. Jeon Tae Soo was the youngest child and only boy, and with his passing leaves behind his mother and three older sisters.

RIP and condolences to the family.
How does one pass away from depression unless they mean that the person committed suicide. This can be reported directly with no fuss.
Please, read NK's first comment.
It's the sixth comment after yours (at this moment).
I agree. There's no shame in losing someone to suicide, but I guess Korean citizens aren't passed that yet. Maybe they will stop stigmatizing suicide in another 50 years.
There's nothing shameful on losing someone to suicide but news like this may have a different effect to those who are already contemplating of committing suicide and may actually do it.
Also, there is always the fear of suicide contagion. Hearing about someone else committing suicide on the media can be triggering for those vulnerable to suicidal thoughts. After Choi Jin Shil's suicide, the number of suicides in South Korea spiked.
It could be that the family requested that he not be reported in such a manner, and the media respected that.
Oh no.. rest in peace
Very sad...condolences to the family..so much sadness and depression in the world today.RIP dear one.
This is devastating new to read when just the other day there was news of ha ji won at an event on this site. May he Rest In Peace.
My condolences to the family...
Oh no!!!Poor Ha Ji Won.It wasnt too long ago that she lost her dad.Her brother was the only son in the family too.So basically all the two closest men to her have left.My condolences.May his soul rest in peace.
Actually media (and everyone else) are highly discouraged from using the term 'committed' suicide as it reinforces negative stigma associated with suicide, so I am pleased to see that reports about his death have avoided the phrase.
RIP and condolences to his family.
OMG... So very sad... I have adored him in Kings Daughter Soo Baek-Hyang, and kept hoping to see him in a new drama..
Condolences to his family
Rest in Peace..
