The Fan Bing Bing and Cannes Film Festival red carpet wow dresses have even become staples with the Western media. She’s an annual attendee, has served on the juror, and even been nominated in the past, so I expect her to be looking for her next Cannes dress every year for many year to come. The 2018 Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tues May 8th and Fan Bing Bing’s opening day red carpet gown was a stunning confection of silver sequined strapless flowing into a mint green tulle layered princess gown. It looked ahhhhhhmazing and she wore it beautifully with her hair piled high in a neat top bun to accentuate all the bling bling diamond necklace and earrings. My only quibble was her taking off the diamond bracelet above and wore instead a black leather band watch for the actual red carpet walk, the bracelet really completed the look.

That mint green tulle is so pretty, but reminds me so much of car wash brushes... :)
I love the second one, the powder gown. It's my favourite quickly followed by the marmaid greenish-blue -gre- sparkles- straps gown ( the third last).
However, she looks gorgeous in most of them.

Fan Bing Bing is beautiful but she likes to go heavy with everything - heavy with the make up, the dress and the styling. Her overpolished looks always made her appear to be trying too hard.

Yes I totally agree. She’s daring and risqué and a thousand times better then the Korean actresses who are so boring and monochromatic in their fashion sense. It’s like they are allergic to colour and always play it safe like dressed up chess pieces. ? Sorry for the use of the word ‘risque’ just think of it as ‘liable to shock’ and omit everything else.
Gotta agree with you. No hate, just an objective opinion that Korean red carpet looks tend to vastly pale in comparison to red carpets in other countries. Dresses are plain and boring, while makeup isn't very distinguished from everyday makeup looks. I love kdramas and their actors & actresses so imagine how fabulous it would be if they went all out for red carpets!
Wow. Just wow. Love numbers 3,4 and 6 the most, but almost every dress got something very special. She is spectacular.
