I probably have my hopes a little too optimistic for upcoming tvN drama Why Secretary Kim, but it’s understandable since the cable network continues to deliver solid dramas while the big three seem incapable of churning out consistent quality in any genre. Why Secretary Kim is adapted from a popular webtoon and the PD of This Life is Our First, Let’s Fight Ghost, and the first two seasons of Let’s Eat so the background and production team are solid. I’m also charmed by how visually cute leads Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young are together, the official drama poster above is love with the dark blue background and the two in matching sharp suiting and contrasting expressions. Both leads have shown themselves to be savvy project pickers so I’m ride the wave along with them for selecting this rom-com for their 2018 drama.

I just want them to have sizzling chemistry when the romance starts and hope the plot is zippy and fun. I also hope this is a good webtoon adaptation, it just seems most of them have been not been that good. The pressure will be on since it's based on a popular webtoon too. Anyway good luck to the cast and crew! I want this to be a hit for PSJ and PMY so badly.
