Happy news out of Taiwan – petite and spunky actress Ivy Chen has confirmed the swirling rumors of the past month that she was pregnant and expecting a baby. She is indeed, and on top of that planning an upcoming wedding to her boyfriend of one year and now baby daddy Director Xu Fu Xiang. He’s most famous for directing the critically acclaimed Taiwan drama The Way We Were (16 Summers) with Ruby Lin, and was tapped to direct Meteor Garden 2018 but bowed out earlier this year due to scheduling conflicts. I found directing the weakest part of MG2018 and would have loved to see PD Xu’s take on the cotton candy confection with directorial sensitivity. But I’m thrilled he got to spend more time with his beloved girlfriend and now the couple have a double happiness coming up with wedding and baby. Congrats!

Congratulations to the happy couple....She got him. Lol ☺
Pregnant first then tertinggi married. Why don't use protection?
Are you a prude? Why does it matter?
To be honest, I think they could be unmarried parents to their child but in Asia, it's not really accepted to do the latter. I guess it's a culture thing since long ago having children out of marriage is considered "illegitimacy", even though both parties live together. But also, there aren't laws that recognize an unmarried couple to have legal authority and guardianship over their child.
