A bit lost in the recent high profile K-drama premieres is a chance for SBS to win the time slot of Mon-Tues with second chance drama My Strange Hero (Bok Soo is Back). Right now it’s not a very competitive time slot and previous drama Where Stars Land (Fox Star Bride) led the ratings despite a narratively that reportedly went to pot at the end. My Strange Hero will start off with the titular hero living a less than stellar life after getting falsely blamed in high school and kicked out. He goes back to high school as an adult to get revenge but of course we know he’ll instead get an epiphany and second chance to get things right. Yoo Seung Ho and Jo Boa are the leads with Kwak Dong Yeon as the second male lead, a solid trio with lots of charisma and acting chops. I’m super excited for this drama to land a solid premiere so that I can fill out my entire week’s watching slot for the first time in years, woo hoo!

Yoo Seung Ho (and Lee Dong Wook) always look like they pulled 3 nights of all-nighters and can't keep their eyes open.
yes, funny, he looks tired. Look at the big difference in size of their eyes when he stands next to KDY. LOL.
Always enjoy a good fluffy romance with well-matched pairing. Bring it on!
Background music of the first few episodes. Major cringe fest.
