Three talented Korean Korean stars are starting off January 2019 right with the release of thriller flick Hit and Run. Gong Hyo Jin and Ryu Jun Yeol play detectives going after baddie Jo Jung Seok with a need for speed and a disregard for traffic deaths. The three stars did a pictorial for Marie Claire Korea and are vamping it up so much I love it. It’s all model posing with piercing gaze and finessed resting lips. This may not be the Gong Hyo Jin and Jo Jung Seok reunion fans of Incarnation of Jealousy were hoping for but definitely sounds like a fun flick when it’s released next month. I’m also glad Ryu Jun Yeon is shining in his movie career with six movies in the last two years and no sign he’s doing a K-drama soon after the disappointing Lucky Romance.

I don' know why Koreans like double eyelids. Mono lids are so wickedly sexy. Look at RJY's smoldering gaze!
People generally like what they don't have.
I also love Asians with single eyelid look. I think it's super charming and alluring... but I do have double eyelids.
Great cast!
Lucky Romance may not have been great writing-wise but RJY's performance was fantastic despite the cliche role of the rich guy who's ice on the outside but very, very hot on the inside. I even liked the OTP.
GHJ had the movie ‘Door Knock’ with Kim Ye Won just released last year so that’s another film of hers. She’s really versatile as an actress and I liked her pairing with Cha Tae Hyun in The producers and her character too. Also Ive liked RJY ever since Reply 1988. One day I hope him and Woo Doo Hwan Star in a film or drama not worried about the genre. That would be epic.
Awesome.
