All it takes is one memorable performance and I’m a fan, and that’s the case for K-actress Jung Eun Chae who held her own opposite two charismatic male leads and a whole lotta crazy spooky in OCN horror thriller The Guest. She’s been acting for 8 years now but really hasn’t made an impression on me until now, and there are plenty of supporting or secondary roles where the actor or actress shines. She does work predominately in movies and The Guest is only her fourth drama so she’s definitely savvy and great at managing her role choices. She has more angular features than the Korean preference of sharp v-line jaws onscreen can play either gorgeous or dowdy with very on point body language. This latest 1st Look pictorial showcases glamorous Jung Eun Chae but I appreciate her for being an actress who can disappear into a role.

Thank you for the JEC update and yes she was phenomenal in The Guest and the tease of her in The Great Fortress all decked out in that mammoth wig and white gown and her blood red lipstick OMG she really knows how to morph into her characters. I’m hoping that she has a lead role this year preferably in a light rom com nothing heavy but then it’s just wishful thinking with Jo In Sung. ❤️
I loved her role in Dr. Fross. Waiting to seeing her in any rom-com in the future.
