K-actor Im Shi Wan may not be discharged from the military until two months later in April but he’s already lined up his first post-army acting project. He’s confirmed for the OCN thriller-mystery drama Other People are Hell (Strangers From Hell) based on the same name webtoon. The illustrations are weird and creepy but I don’t sense this as a straight up horror and more like people be weird. The male lead moves from the countryside to Seoul and stays at a gosiwon, boarding house usually for people studying for entrance exams, and encounters a coterie of oddballs. This drama pick reminds me of Im Shi Wan choosing Misaeng which turned out to be a massive hit so kudos for taking chances.

Very good actor, watched The Attorney and he impressed me. Only later I read that he was also in a boy band. So much more impessive. He is like DO who can hold his own acting with veterans.
