Mysterious Abyss in tvN Drama Transforms Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seob in Contrasting Ways

I envisioned an actual physical Abyss that would transform the visuals of the two leads in the upcoming tvN fantasy K-drama. Who figured it would instead be the Eye of Sauron in crystal ball form, contained easily in a wooden box. Man those humans, elves, and hobbits had it hard back then. The first teasers are out for Abyss and show leads Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seob with totally different reactions to the abyssian ball in their possession that swapped their forms. A dark cloud gathers as formerly statuesque beauty turns into petite Park Bo Young whereas Ahn Hyo Seob sees spring dawning in his life after he goes from nottie to hottie. Not sure I want this conundrum if it was real – do I want to be told my current form sucks and be transformed, or be told I was actually the shizniz and have to go at it again as a have-not for some life affirming growth lessons.
