It’s Vagabond for later and Absolute Boyfriend next on the SBS Wed-Thurs line up. Despite the proliferation of scandalous news in the K-media right now, Big Issue isn’t doing big ratings and this next drama SBS has lined up seems more like a niche genre. The network is airing the K-drama adaptation of the Japanese manga Absolute Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi), telling of a girl who buys a humanoid robot with a penchant to go shirtless and together he learns to love and teaches her to love. And since he’s still a robot there is a flesh and blood other male lead to complete the love triangle. The K-version stars Yeo Jin Gu as the robot alongside Minah and Hong Jong Hyun, a very charming triumvirate with a chance to deliver a fun take on a pretty silly but sweet story.

Great a main network viewing audience and vivacious Minah. This drama has great potential to be very popular and a success for all involved...Cant wait.?
Good on SBS for taking the plunge and securing AB for a fixed time slot. I guess it was always on the books to premiere this drama this year. A nice fluffy rom com in May to look forward to and YJG moreso oh and HJH as well. Serious honey material thanks SBS.
