Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi have just wrapped their third go-around working together and I’m thinking they should keep this up and own this record permanently. The two are starring in the movie adaptation of Korean novel 1982 Born Kim Ji Young (or Kim Ji Young, Born in 1982) which marks their third cinematic collaboration after The Crucible and Train to Busan. The novel is both well received and also controversial as it’s a feminist novel and apparently plenty of male readers got their druthers up. To which I say grow some balls. I love Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi’s effortless chemistry and professionalism in choosing interesting and challenging projects, can’t wait to watch Kim Ji Young when it comes out at the end of 2019.

Kim Mi Kyung too? I'm excited to check this out!
At this point it'll feel weird if Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi ever stop doing projects together. Can't believe they even cameo in Dating Agency Cyrano (the drama remake) as one of the couples that get setup. That makes this technically their 4th time together.
