J-actress Ishihara Satomi Selected as the Olympic Flame Ambassador for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics

It felt like Pyongyong 2018 was just yesterday and I was covering all the K-stars involved with South Korea hosting its first ever Winter Olympics. Now it’s just a year away from Tokyo taking the world stage in hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics and keeping the Olympic flame in Asia for another chance to showcase the culture of East Asia. The lead up is starting and this weekend J-actress Ishihara Satomi was unveiled as the Olympic Flame Ambassador. I expect to see many more J-stars in public events for the Olympics since it’s a national pride thingie and Satomi with her clean up image and mega-watt smile is perfect as the Flame Ambassador. She’s sporting a Tokyo 2020 track suit in chic white with red stripes with her hair smartly pulled back into a mess fishtail. Cute!

  • Satomi is so pretty. I like her both on-and off-screen.

This is kind of off-topic but since Satomi resembles Ariel Lin I just got reminded that the Japanese version of "In Time With You" will start airing in July. I'm looking forward to it!
