Yoon Shi Yoon and Jung In Sun Cast in Upcoming tvN Drama Psychopath Diary

Cable network tvN keeps chugging along and this week announced a new drama for the fall. The drama is called Psychopath Diary and is from the PD of Dear Husband of 100 Days and the writer of Pied Piper and Liar Game. K-actor Yoon Shi Yoon is in talks for the male lead, playing an ordinary super nice guy office worker always mistreated who tries to commit suicide. He ends up failing but loses his memory, and so happens to try to kill himself at a location used by a serial killer. He wakes up with no memory and the diary of the psychopath in and thinks he’s the serial killer writer of the diary. Jung In Sun will be playing the female lead a lowly cop always overlooked who falls into this case and finds her talents finally put to use. From the writer this sounds like a thriller concept rather than a comedic one especially with a serial killer on the loose. I’m game for it since it stars Yoon Shi Yoon.
