Kim Bora in Talks as the Female Lead of the K-drama Remake of Jane the Virgin with Jaejoong

The casting is on a one-two punch speed and I’m oddly liking the leads chosen. Rising young actress Kim Bora is in talks to be the titular K-drama version of Jane the Virgin, which will place her opposite confirmed male lead Jaejoong. K-netizens seem to have a bone to pick with her based on her SNS profile, updates, and personal life style and I really hate the rush to eat their young especially with someone talented who is still growing and maturing. Kim Bora has been fantastic in all the supporting roles I’ve seen her in, most recently as the sasaeng fan turned art museum rookie in Her Private Life so if she’s cast as Jane the Virgin then good to see her get top billing so soon.

The original one is Juana la virgen from Venezuela. One of the most interesting telenovela I've watched. I hope SK will remake my favorite telenovela, "Yo amo a Paquita Gallego" too someday.
