Dramas span a gamut of genres and each story requires its own suitable actor and actress to fill out the roles. That’s why I hope the continued exodus of talented veteran K-drama leads whether male or female still leaves a solid group to continue working in the industry. I worry about the day where I truly don’t see any familiar face anymore and have no emotional resonance with the new faces being promoted. With that said, the K-drama remake of US show Leverage is a go and confirmed as the male lead is Lee Dong Gun. He’s been on a roll for the last three years with drama selections and also getting married and having a baby so I hope the stability in his personal life means more time to deliver the good stuff on the small screen. Also in talks is young actress Kim Sae Ron for the drama based on a former insurance fraud investigator turned con man working for the down trodden.

The original is a good TV show, I hope this one will be good. For now, the casting looks interesting with Jeon Hye Bin in addition.
