My jawdropped already once when I saw the first cross-dressing stills of K-actor Jang Dong Yoon in his high profile leading man role in the KBS sageuk The Tale of Nokdu. It’s impressive the same guy can make my jaw drop twice but he’s done it again with the most recent stills that show him in his male character form for the same drama. He’s a warrior chaebol son running away from an arranged marriage by what seem the most convoluted way possible by cross-dressing as a widow hiding in a widow village. I guess it’s as extreme as it gets but whatever, what said cross-dressing dramas ever need to make sense to make it fun. I can salivate over Jang Dong Yoon and then ask him for makeup and skincare tips in the next breath.

It feels so nice to see a cross dress genre but this time its the guy who does it! I was kind of tired of watching girls hiding themselves as guy while still looking like a girl...
