It’s funny that I just finished watching the final two episodes of When the Camellia Blooms before seeing the new drama character stills for the four leads of Crash Landing on You. Camellia has its limitations that prevent it from being a perfect drama but the successful creation of fully human, flawed, and slice-of-life characters is it’s top selling point. The opposite seems true of Crash Landing, none of the four leads Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin, Kim Jung Hyun, and Seo Ji Hye look like they actually exist in real life in even a slight facsimile of them. We’ve got South Korean chaebol and heiress along with North Korean officer and high ranking lady. It’s like this drama went out of its way to mirror the parachuting into North Korea ridiculousness by creating equally implausible characters. But goodness is the cast stratospheric levels of good looking, as evidenced by these stills that are all cheek bones, vogue-ing stars, and amazing pouts.

It’s looking more and more like a fan fic.
Even if the story is bad at least the cast is good to look at lol
Yeah I’m a sucker for punishment I like the writer and cast; storyline however I’d rather be outside picking daisies. It really does not appeal the whole NK and SK connection but I’ll give it a go since I absolutely adore the writer’s previous works and she got a stellar cast. I am secretly hoping it’s another Camellia in the making and the Korean domestic viewers lap it all up. Good luck team crash ??
