Han Suk Kyu doesn’t look either either a doctor or a teacher in his first stills for SBS medical drama Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 2, more like he’s auditioning for the fisherman killer in I Know What You Did Last Summer lol. It was a fairly routine type of blah year for the network in 2019 in terms of ratings and even buzzy dramas, KBS and the cable networks got more traction even in this ratings depressed days. But the first Romantic Doctor was a legit hit so it makes sense to duplicate the quirky mentor doctor formula with an updated set of arrogant and emotionally immature younger doctors played by Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seob. Their first stills only reinforce how both can never believably look like surgeons, so much baby face going on.

True they look too young. The script has to be good otherwise it might tank. Look at Neighborhood Lawyer Jo, season 2 flopped.
Lee Sung-kyung looked better in "Doctors," lol. I find it funny that Seo Hyun-jin's TVN drama "Black Dog" will be competing with "Romantic Doctor 2."
I don't like the new casting... YYS and SHJ are good actors and had a great chemistry. Yang Se Jong was good too. I love Han Suk Kyu but I don't think I will be able to watch it just for him.
The writers are excellent. I will tune in just for them and Han Suk Kyu. This is a must watch for me!
What a major downgrade. From having Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok to two mediocre actors, especially Ahn Hyo Seob. Sorry Han Suk Kyu, but it's a pass for me.
