I feel like my articles about K-actress Han Ye Seul can simply be summed up with “do you like it?”. The actress has been on a tear with changing up her image in the last year, getting quite a few new tattoos along with dressing in more street and edgy looks. Nothing wrong with that other than one’s personal preference for what looks “good” per se. Her latest appearance at this past weekend’s Golden Disc Awards garnered a lot of media attention as she presented wearing a septum nose ring. It could be a real piercing or simply a clip on, either way the look coupled with dark eye shadow and silver contact lenses and super dark hair makes me think she looks like a modern version of Elvira lol. She’s free to do what makes her happy but I don’t think her look is particularly pretty though she does pull it off rather than looking like a tryhard.

Personally i thibk she is looking great and k netizens bashing her. For lord sake it is her life. I wish i could carry such look. I tried once and looked so bad. One needs guts to pull such look. I m loving it. I hope she gets some good drama to bounce back. Both her and han ga in was once most demanded faces at plastic surgeons. Lol.so many Women wanted that face .
She’ll probably look better without the silver contact lenses and tried more subtle piercing. That last pic of her smiling gives me the creeps.
Great costume for Halloween but only 10 months too early. And her face looks bloated and very plastic, or is this just the lighting?
I don't get why some people have this necessity of being mean. I mean, it's her life, her choice. If she feels herself, if she's happy and free to do and dress herself however she likes, why other people are so noisy about it? You should be the same, so maybe you wouldn't need to point fingers at others. Live and let the others live too!
You should do the same *
what do you imply by being "mean" or "so noisy"? I will for sure get comments from my friends if I dress like her but that does not mean my friends are "mean" or "so noisy". It is just a fact of life that we have to accept other people's opinions whether it is a compliment or a no-nay-yuck. Especially she is an artist wearing this at a public event, it will be more sad if no one notices her. A random comment does not equal to pointing fingers.

Would never have known it was her until you told me!
well, at least it's not the usual 'safe' and boring style that most k-actresses wear, that's for sure! It looks weird but I appreciate that she's trying a bold style, the dress is a lovely color too.
She wanted attention well she got it but for me it screams like ‘mid life’ crisis. I really think the look is inappropriate for an awards ceremony unless she was going in character and she isn’t. And please HYS going Goth is an actual lifestyle choice not some passing fad to look cool. She ain’t Goth at all - just a try hard wanna be flirting with Goth culture; plonking a nose ring, dying her hair and wearing coloured contacts to look cool? Next. Go to Japan (Tokyo) where real 24/7 Goths actually exist. I use to follow her work before well I’m not going to anymore gosh she makes me wild.
lol reading your comment makes me scream boring. I for one thinks that the award ceremony is too boring and plain with conservative dressing and everyone trying to comply to the standardized beauty in korea. What is wrong with trying to be unique? Look at hollywood red carpet where everyone is dressing up creatively and unique and definitely not just the single coloured one piece gown with plain accessories lmao. Just because she wants to portray a different style doesn't mean she's screaming for attention nor she's going through life time crisis, i think you're the one who's going through mid life crisis behind the screen. Everyone can choose to go with whatever style and you have no right to say they are screaming for attention. Just because you're boring and one way look/ style doesnt mean you have right to say that about others. Gosh. Reading your comment makes me "wild". Well, haters gonna hate. Go hate your life if its not too much to ask for.
Whatever works for her. At least it is interesting and a good conversational piece instead of the usual insipid gowns that k-actresses like to wear during award shows. I like that she chose to be different and 'edgy' instead.
She looks beautiful!! I love this look on her.
