The first season of SBS medical drama Romantic Teacher, Doctor Kim premiered with 9.5% AGB nationwide ratings and ended with over 27% in its final episode. It’s one of the rare prime time successes in recent years so not a surprise the network decided on a season 2. What was weird was how long it took but I guess the viewers are still around because the first episode aired on Monday to a double digit premiere of 10.8%. That beats the first season and definitely indicates this drama has the interest and hopefully legs to bring another win to the embittered prime time dramas. Viewers continue to love and trust in veteran Han Suk Kyu‘s acting and drama choices with the same commentary that young leads Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seob are visually hard to believe as doctors bu the story line remains entertaining enough this time around to compensate for it.
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…

Might give this drama a try to see if it is good. There's no interesting drama to watch lately other than waiting for Kingdom season 2 to premiere. So I hope I hope I like this one.
I will try it. I really liked the first season but I prefered the casting. I'm not a fan of Ahn Hyo Seob and Lee Sung Kyung. But there is Shin Dong Wook :p
Still waiting on Liar Game
I think LSK & AHS are interns in the story, just like the first season (before jumping 5 years later)
If they're interns then their faces still believable.
just finishing watching Ep 1 & 2, good. AHS appears better than in Abyss and LSK is ok. HSK is of coz excellent, he is the star of this drama. A strong start. Happy to finally have a K-drama to watch aside from my J-dramas.
Han Suk Kyu and the supporting cast from S1 definitely carries the drama. But really... the new FL and the other new ML. I still can't warm up to their acting. It still is far from the previous season's leads acting.
