Okay, I’m in a state of happiness and trepidation with the news of this upcoming new K-drama. Top stars Lee Jun Ki and Moon Chae Won are confirmed for the K-drama The Flower of Evil, reuniting three years after doing the K-adaptation of Criminal Minds together. This time they play a married couple but this is no romance lovey dovey drama. He’s a psychopath who conceals his past and puts on the facade of a loving husband and father and she’s his wife and a detective who starts to suspect him and investigates. Oh god this is so not going to end well. It’s as if Kang Maru in Nice Guy was a legit sociopath instead of just temporarily angry at the world and lashing out and just needing the right woman to bring him back to his natural state of goodness. I love this pairing but need to steel myself for the dark twistiness ahead.

Darn if only this was a romance genre like they both said they wanted lol still excited nevertheless!
The psychopath character must think pretty highly of himself if he thinks he can marry a detective and not have her eventually find out something is wrong with him. Or maybe he finds it thrilling to outsmart those around him? I love the premise for this drama, will def give it a try.
I like both leads, i really do but this genre is just really not my cup of tea. I'm not hoping for a romcom but this? *Sigh*
Yasss! Long wait is over. Lee Joon Gi is back and he is going to play as a pyschopath? Hell yes bring it on!?
That is part of the psychopath mind. But most of them live without killing someone or doing things serious like that. What people tend to forget is that you don't choose to be one. It is an illness of the mind and they have to live with it, control it. It isn't what you choose to be like healthy people who doing evil things.
I am in for the acting of these two strong leads, regardless of the plot, writer or PD.
Now im missing eun gi noona and kang maru pairing?
I'm excited for story… but come one Korea!! psychopath … psychopath in everything I'm starting to get tired
