Striking Poster and Sneak Peek at SBS Drama Hyena with Kim Hye Soo and Joo Ji Hoon as Lawyers to the Uber Rich

SBS is off to a good start with Hot Stove League doing well in Fri-Sat ratings so the stage is set for it’s successor drama Hyena when it takes over in late February. We already have a Shark and a Wolf in K-drama land so of course a Hyena wouldn’t be out of place especially as the predator that scavenges is an apt metaphor for the sleazy lawyers out there. Starring Kim Hye Soo and Joo Ji Hoon, the drama is about two lawyers who work for the super rich and look out for their own best interests, not a problem for me when it’s clear the super rich are likely terrible people so I hope the get legal leeches to suck them dry. The drama comes with high credentials with the PD of You From Another Star, Tree With Deep Roots, Painter of the Wind, and War of Money and with two big name charismatic leads this drama is likely more interesting than the set up would suggest. I do love the first drama poster, so much space actually makes me focus on the two leads and their differing visuals.
