I’m surprised K-drama didn’t adapt this yet into a television format but J-ent is taking a first crack at moving popular Korean young cops movie Midnight Runners onto the small screen. The J-dorama adaptation called Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner will arrive in April 2020 with leads Nakajima Kento of idol group Sexy Zone and King & Prince’s Hirano Sho, who I thoroughly enjoyed watching as the male lead in the Hana Yori Dango sequel Hana Nochi Hare. Two earnest rookie cops in a comedy trying to learn the ropes is fantastic to cross over into the J-dorama style of slapstick procedural, I’m totally down for this one!

I liked Hirano Sho in Hana Nochi Hare too! He was funny as clumsy hero.
Midnight Runner was a nice and funny movie.
