PD Shin Won Ho has gone from growing up stories in his hit Answer Me series to professional and situation slice-of-life dramas. His Wise Prison Life (Prison Playbook) has now moved quite timely to the currently airing Wise Doctor Life (Hospital Playlist) and there will be a familiar face showing up in an upcoming episode. Go Ara who was the leading lady in AM1994 will be guest starring in Wise Prison Life and her role is a total visual turnaround from frumpy Na Jung in 1994. She looks soooooooo beautiful and radiant, the pink lace dress doesn’t look too cute or cloying on her at all, instead she is the living doll she had the reputation for being when she first debuted but now with the added improvement in acting ability. I’m banking Wise Doctor Life and can’t wait to marathon when it’s all done.

Absolutely great drama! Intelligent script and excellent performances from seasoned actors. Not your typical drama, it focuses on friendships instead of romance. Not that there aren’t love lines in the drama. Pity it doesn’t have more online buzz. And Go Ara is so delicately pretty, like a doll.

Yeah, Netflix has it billed for two seasons. Not sure when the next season will run though.
