Park Bo Gum to Enlist for Mandatory Service in August 2020 After Completing K-drama The Moment and Movie Wonderland

Summer appears to be the time of enlistment as another K-actor is shaving his head soon. Park Bo Gum is confirmed to report for duty this August, 2020, he’s on the young side as most actors tend to delay closer to their age deadline but he’s striking while the iron is hot on his career. He’s joining the Navy promotions division, pretty specific and he had to specifically apply and audition for it. He’ll be busy up until his enlistment in 7 weeks as he’s still filming K-drama The Moment (Record of Youth) with Park So Dam and has also recently filmed his scenes for the ensemble sci-fi movie Wonderland where his role is opposite Suzy for their segment. He also has the completed movie Seo Bok with Gong Yoo that doesn’t yet have a release date. He’s really done well in the last five years since his breakout with Answer Me 1988 to Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and then Encounter (Boyfriend). Even better is fans will have some of his works to watch during his enlistment period.
