With COVID-19 ending nowhere in sight, I wonder if upcoming sci-fi action movie Space Sweepers (Spaceship Victory) should have kept its summer time slot rather than delaying to October 1. Train to Busan sequel Peninsula is cleaning up at the box office albeit with half the haul it could have done due to movie theaters blocking off every other seat. But if social distancing will remain through fall then Space Sweepers might as well get more of the summer crowd rather than wait for the fall when kids are back in school. This movie totally looks like a summer popcorn flick, the second trailer is look and brings back all the Firefly vibes for me, one of the best sci-fi shows ever made and so underrated. The idea of a ragtag band of mercenaries and junkers in space is the best kind of sci-fi fun to explore, the world and the universe has gone to shit but might as well scrape by with grit and some true comrades. Kim Tae Ri looks awesome as the kickass female lead and Song Joong Ki is like taking his Captain Yoo and tossing him in space.

Interesting. This is the genre that's dominated by US for such a long time now since CGI technology in the East isn't as good, yet. This one looks really decent though.
One of the best sci-fi movie ever..Joong-ki and Kim Tae Ri were also a good match..a star studded film... all are good actors...I'm so excited to watch this.. Good luck and more power to all the cast of Space Sweepers.. praying for the success of this movie...
