I don’t know when we’re seeing the new dramas premiere as basically all K-drama filming has been halted now due to the sudden resurgence of COVID-19 in South Korea. With that said, anything new feels even more special and tvN released the first stills for fantasy K-drama Tale of Gumiho with leads Lee Dong Wook, Jo Boa, and Kim Bum. These stills are unintentionally hilarious because the two male gumihos look so sleazy and Jo Boa has super deer in headlights look. But seriously, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum look like rival gang club owners and I cannot take them seriously as modern incarnations of gumihos. If this is the vibe then I’ll roll with it, at least it makes me do a double take.
